WELCOME

The practice has been serving the people of Duston and St James for more than 90 years and currently looks after around 18,600 patients. Our premises today have been built with the patient in mind. The Harlestone Road Surgery was opened in December 1990 and the Duston Medical Centre in August 1987, extended in 1994. Both surgeries have wheelchair access and good car parking facilities. Our 11 doctors and supporting teams of nurses, receptionists and administrative staff are able to offer you many services.

From time to time we have to employ GP locums who are fully qualified general practitioners, to help us out during times of holiday, sickness and maternity leave cover.

SURGERY OPENING TIMES

The surgery premises are open at the following times:-

Early Bird Surgery Harlestone Road	Monday to Friday	7.00 - 8.00am
Harlestone Road	Monday to Friday	8.00am - 6.30pm
Duston Medical Centre	Monday to Friday	8.00am - 6.30pm
Evening Surgery Dunston Medical Centre	Tuesday to Wednesday	6.30 - 8.00pm
The telephone lines are open from 7.00am every day.

Both surgeries are closed from 1.00 - 2.00pm on Wednesdays for staff training, and one Tuesday afternoon a month for education purposes.

Please note that the doctors are in the surgery for most of the day and provision can be made to speak to the doctor on the telephone if you feel an appointment is not necessary.
